With her canonisation looming on 4 September there is perhaps no saint of the Church more widely loved and remembered with affection than the soon-to-be St Teresa of Kolkata.

To coincide with the canonisation of the Church’s latest official saint, The Catholic Weekly will be producing a special edition for that weekend and invites you to share with our readers a story of your encounter with Mother Teresa.

Send your story and photos to [email protected] to be part of this special edition of The CW.

Meanwhile, there will be a special exhibition on the life of Mother Teresa in St Mary’s Cathedral Crypt opening on Tuesday, 30 August, and concluding Monday, 12 September.

The exhibition will be open during normal cathedral opening hours.

The canonisation Mass for the new St Teresa will be live streamed via webcast at St Mary’s Cathedral on Sunday, 4 September.

Prior to the webcast, all are invited to attend Vespers celebrated in the cathedral at 5pm, followed by Mass celebrated by the Archbishop of Sydney, Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP, at 6pm.

The webcast will commence at 7:30pm in the Cathedral College Hall.

A Mustard Seed bookstall will also be available.
