Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP will join Anglican Archbishop of Sydney Glenn Davies in a series of public lectures on the influence of faith in Australian society.
Titled Faith, Hope & Love: Unchanging virtues for a changing world, the series of three free lectures will be presented by New College, a Christian residential college of the University of NSW.
Both archbishops will address the topic of faith on 23 September, hope on 24 September and love on 25 September at the college from 7.30pm with canapés from 6pm.
They will articulate the importance and relevance of these cardinal virtues for contemporary society where competing voices and institutions wrestle to define and influence the national conversation.
Lectures will be followed by Q&A session with members of the media and the community.
Historian and broadcaster Dr Meredith Lake will moderate the lectures, which are believed to be the first in the country’s history to be jointly delivered by Catholic and Anglican archbishops.
