Newly-appointed Melbourne Archbishop Peter A. Comensoli joined Sydney Auxiliary Bishop Richard Umbers at the feast of St Thomas, the patron of the Chaldean & Assyrian Catholic Diocese yesterday.
The Bossley Park event included a Holy Mass offered by His Grace Archbishop Amel Nona followed by a colourful festival celebrated by hundreds of parishioners, many dressed in traditional Chaldean clothes featuring an afternoon of dancing and singing.
