Australian Catholic Superannuation has been named one of Australia’s most innovative companies, ranked 48 on the 2016 AFR Top 50 Most Innovative Companies List.
It is the only superannuation fund to make the top 50.
The list, previously known as the BRW Most Innovative Companies list, is the only national, cross-industry list of its kind.
Now in its fifth year, the list attracted more than 1000 nominations which were judged and compiled by innovation consultancy firm Inventium.
Australian Catholic Superannuation’s chief executive officer Greg Cantor welcomed the ranking.
“Making the AFR’s Top 50 Most Innovative Companies List is a huge achievement for our fund,” he said.
“The fact that we are the only super fund to feature on the list is a testament to the hard work of our dedicated staff.
“Innovation is one of our core company values and it plays a big role in how we look at improving the retirement outcomes of members.”
Earlier this year the fund’s RetireSmart account based pension was recognised as an ABA100 Winner for Product Innovation in the 2016 Australian Business Awards.
