Maronite Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay led the eparchy’s Easter services in 2023, enjoying overflowing crowds with enough faith and enthusiasm to brave the inclement weather. Umbrellas lined the Via Dolorosa this year as Jesus carried his cross through the drizzle in St Charbel Punchbowl’s Way of the Cross re-enactment.
