The best of what’s left of #ACYF17

Most read

The Australian Catholic Youth Festival was a major success but also an immensely busy time for The Catholic Weekly and other agencies of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney.

We spoke to too many young people, groups, religious and priests to count, generating so much material that we simply couldn’t use it all.

Collectively, the feedback of participants is the biggest and best story to emerge from the festival – the impact it had on young people and even some “oldies” who were present, usually in a volunteer capacity.

We also spoke to quite a few bishops behind the scenes on the evening of the final Mass in The Domain – men who were gracious enough to give us their time and Catholic Weekly readers their thoughts.

Here’s some of the best of what didn’t get a run, with thanks to the people who participated.
