Nabil Anoya was still wiping the tears from his eyes as he left the Hoyts Cinemas in George St after watching Mel Gibson’s movie, The Passion of the Christ.

“I don’t get emotional watching movies, but my tears wouldn’t stop, watching the pain and suffering Christ had to endure,” he says.

“I feel Mel Gibson has truly captured the passion of Jesus Christ.

“It was a moving experience and the best movie I have seen.”

Nabil, an Assyrian Orthodox, says the movie has helped to re-ignite his faith.
