Afternoon tea for Cardinal

BLUE HILLS: Cardinal Pell enjoys afternoon tea during a visit to an aged care facility in Prestons

The Archbishop of Sydney, Cardinal George Pell, joined residents and staff for afternoon tea when he visited the Blue Hills Village at Prestons to inspect the new Blue Hills Manor, a low care residential aged care facility.

He was accompanied by Fr Danny Meagher, the founding parish priest of Holy Spirit, Carnes Hill, who has since left for a posting overseas.

Blue Hills Village has contributed towards the new church at Carnes Hill in recognition of Fr Danny’s work in the area.
