Rosebank sports awards

Rosebank College, Five Dock, will hold its inaugural sports awards night in the college hall at 7.30pm on Friday, September 10.

All families and members of the college community are invited to attend the function which will recognise the talents and achievements of students who have played sport during 2004, including the Rosebank sportsman and sportswoman of the year.

Interest in soccer among the girls at the college is strong judging by their senior and junior teams.

Senior girls: Katrina Bougiouras, Francesca Iannelli, Lara Neilson (C), Daniella Lauro, Nicole Giannetto, Elizabeth Meldrum-Hanna, Meagan Simpson, Candice Gray, Talicia Williams, Karen Moreyra, Lauren Hetherington, Alexis Postans, Melissa Khoury, Catherine Collard.

Junior girls: Nicole Warren, Monique Merillo, Laura Mye, Mary Britton, Elisa Martelli, Leah Smith, Vanessa Nicotra, Jacki Stopps, Maree Spiridonidis, Clare Tyson, Samantha Bennett-Scott, Belinda O'Brien, Elyse Griffiths, Rebecca Bombaci.
