$50,000 for Susan’s pilgrimage

Almost $50,000 – much of it from Catholic Weekly readers – has now been raised for the appeal to send Brisbane woman Susan Gunderson, a quadriplegic mother of two young children, on a pilgrimage to Lourdes.

Susan and another 15 pilgrims left Australia on September 2.

The Mt Isa Catholic community contributed nearly $2000 from a fundraising drive under the guidance of parish priest Fr Mick Lowcock.
