Bishops’ Meeting: Workshop for bishops
The Bishop of Broken Bay, Bishop David Walker, is to facilitate a workshop for bishops this month as part of a leadership course sparked by his recent sabbatical in Canada.
Bishop Walker spent the northern winter in Toronto, Canada, taking part in a program at the Carter Centre for Leadership.
There were 10 bishops in his group, representing Churches in the US, Canada, Sweden and Australia.
Bishop Walker has described the experience in Toronto as “a joyous, restful environment” to reflect on his time as a bishop, “a very rich experience that will be a watershed in my ministry as a bishop”.
