China visitors

Sydney readers of The Catholic Weekly have an opportunity to meet young people from haoqing, China, who are here on a study tour with Fr John Wotherspoon, an Australian Oblate of Mary Immaculate.

Fr John is in Sydney until August 2 with 28 students, aged 11-18, and two teachers from the Canadian-American School in Zhaoquing province in China.

“Our visit is a study tour, to practise English and to experience Australian culture," he says.
“If any readers would like to join us for any of our meals or activities and help us with conversation practice you would be most welcome.”

Contact Fr John at john@china8.org or leave a message at Sefton parish (02)
