Charity race day

Network Ten celebrity Tim Webster, host of Sports Tonight, is guest of honour at a charity race day luncheon at Royal Randwick this weekend to aid St Anthony’s Special Preschool, Croydon.
St Anthony’s caters for 14 children between the ages of one and four who have physical disabilities.

The luncheon, held in the Vice Regal Room at Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday, June 28, is the eighth charity race day event organised by the Sr Anne Memorial Committee.
Bookings can be made by calling (02) 9498 6577. Tickets are $85.

Friends and supporters of Josephite Sr Anne Byrne formed the committee, after her death in 1998, in honour of her work as the matron and pioneer of St Margaret’s Hospital, Darlinghurst, for more than 40 years.
