Four-day visit to Slovakia

Pope John Paul II will visit four cities - Bratislava, the capital, and Trnava, Banska Bystrica and Roznava - during a visit to Slovakia on September 11-14.

He is expected to beatify several 20th-century martyrs of communism during the visit, his second since the country's peaceful split from the Czech Republic in 1993.
