L’Arche is facing an accommodation crisis at Merrylands

“Over the last 15 years the local parish has been incredibly generous in virtually giving the use of the house to us, but now they are in a position where they have to sell it,” says Donna Rhall.

“The challenge is for us to buy the house or find somewhere else. The parish has offered it to us at a very reasonable price.

“We are praying and we have started fundraising activities.

“Jean Vanier is coming to Australia early next year to give a retreat at the time we have to either buy the house or move and we are hoping to have some fundraising activities around that visit.”
