Honour for doctors

Dr Evelyn Billings has been made a Dame Commander of St Gregory the Great in recognition of 50 years’ work on their natural fertility method - the Billings method - with her husband Dr John Billings, who has received an extra star on his Knight of St Gregory the Great award.

The Archbishop of Melbourne, Archbishop Denis Hart, presented the awards at St Patrick’s Cathedral.

The Billings method is regarded as the most successful natural fertility methods available.
