Ecumenical Way of the Cross

Young people will re-enact the Good Friday story

An ecumenical group has devised a novel way of putting Christ back into the Easter celebration with a very literal Way of the Cross on Good Friday.

The holy walk, through Hunters Hill and Gladesville, is now in its third year. It attracted 500 people last year.

It starts at All Saints' Ang lican Church, then takes in Villa Maria Catholic Church, the Congregational Church and St Joseph’s Hostel; along the way a group of young people will re-enact the Good Friday story.

The walk takes just under two hours. Transport will be on hand for people who cannot walk the whole distance. And there are drink stops.
