Golden wedding Mass at Cardinal Gilroy Village

Josephine and Anthony Victoria (pictured) celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this week with a Thanksgiving Mass at Cardinal Gilroy Village Chapel, Merrylands.

They married at St Mary’s Church, Kegalla, Sri Lanka, on July 5, 1952.

Their four children, seven grandchildren and other family members will join in celebrating their anniversary.

Josephine and Anthony, both from devout Catholic families, developed a great admiration here for the Society of St Vincent de Paul and its works and were always ready to respond to requests for help.

They have a great devotion to Blessed Mary Mackillop.
