Madonna and Christ child by Fra Angelico

Mary and the child Jesus appear in the centre panel of a triptych attributed to the 15th-century artist Fra Angelico. The triptych is a holding of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. The December 25 Christmas feast commemorates the incarnation of the divine word at the birth of Christ.
