Stem-cell research

Both sides in the stem cell debate agree about the technology; “they just disagree about the use of embryos”, says Tery Breen, of the medical research lobby group Do No Harm.

To show people that using embryos is not necessary, the group is bringing Life Sciences Professor David Prentice of Indiana State University to Sydney to address a public meeting at the Anzac Memorial Club at 7.30pm on August 14, after which he will appear on the ABC’s Lateline program.
