Quotes, claims online

Catholic Church Insurances (CCI) is now offering free home and contents and personal accident insurance quotes online on its website - www.ccinsurances.com.au - as a way of broadening its client base.

"We are targeting it as a value-added service for those people who enjoy or prefer this new technology," said web administrator James Simonetta.

Potential clients can request an obligation-free quote in a matter of clicks. After acknowledging the request by email, CCI will forward a written quote by mail within days. Alternatively, application forms can be downloaded from the site.

Existing clients can also lodge claims online.

CCI launched the www.ccinsurances.com.au last year. It provides details about policies and services, including superannuation, investment management and general insurance, plus a history of CCI and a description of its role within the Church.
