M5 fun day raises $20,000

Fr Chris Riley of Youth Off the Streets was all revved up to be the first to drive along the new M5 East Freeway at its opening on December 9. Around 30,000 people followed Fr Chris on foot through the 4km tunnel. They made donations at the end of their walk to the tune of more than $20,000 for the organisation for homeless and disadvantaged youth.
